Hi, this is Justin, I have been into Warhammer and it’s related game systems since about 1989. Whilst I took a break after finishing university in 1997, what with career and later family too essentially meaning I didn’t have the time, I started getting back into 40K specifically in about 2019. Whilst during the time post 2019 I struggled to find enough space to actually do much hobby time such as painting etc. I certainly continued to collect various armies until my pile of opportunity got pretty big. Last year (2025) I finally had the opportunity to get a new home of my own (as opposed to rented) and earlier this year (2026) I finally managed to get a dedicated hobby space setup and at the same time as starting work on my pile of opportunity I have also started a YouTube channel called justinsminipainting.
This website is intended to follow hand in hand with YouTube and Instagram my progress through this huge backlog and give overviews of the various armies I collect. Below is a brief list of what those armies are to give a quick glimpse as to what you can expect to eventually see on these pages.
Armies I am collecting:-
- Space Wolves – Rogue Trader and Modern.
- Imperial Guard / Astra Militarum – Rogue Trader and Modern.
- Eldar / Aeldari – Rogue Trader and Modern.
- Orks – Modern
- Tyranids – Modern, though do have some Rogue Trader era models.
